What happens if I generate more power than I need?
With a grid-tied solar system, any excess power you generate can be sent back to the grid, for which you will receive credits for through the net metering program. A Net metered system also offers the option of storing even more energy using a Lithium battery Storage system to insure that you are covered in the case of a power outage.
